    We believe that women possess unique and powerful qualities that can transform leadership, and we are thrilled to explore these strengths in-depth during our Women's Day event in Cape Town.

    This year’s theme, "Women Leaders, Champions of Change," will guide our discussions as we highlight how your leadership skills can drive change, empower you to achieve your goals, and inspire others.

    Our Speakers

    Buli G NgomaneBroadcaster & Businesswoman

    Buli G Ngomane is a former radio and TV presenter and a producer on the national broadcaster (SABC 2 & 3). She was acknowledged as one of Mail & Guardian's Top 200 Young South Africans and is a Tomorrow's Leader Award winner at CEO Magazine's: SA's Most Influential Women in Business and Government Awards in the category Telecommunications, Media, TV, Radio & Press.

    She made the inaugural Nelson Mandela Bay Business Chamber's Top 40 under 40 and was awarded the Regional Business Achiever Award in the corporate category by the Business Women's Association for her work with the Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium handling stakeholder relations, marketing and corporate affairs. In 2021 her peers awarded her a Women In Leadership in The Arts Award for her contribution to the creative industries sector over 22 years.

    She has over 2000+ speaking and MC engagements and most recently won the Nelson Mandela Bay Business Event Award for MC/Entertainer in November 2023. Her clientele ranges from top African corporates to international royalty and Fortune 500 companies.

    Naadiya MoosajeeSerial social entrepreneur & civil engineer

    Naadiya is a serial entrepreneur by passion, an engineer by training, is Co-Founder and CIO at WomHub, a unique ecosystem builder supporting innovation along the STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Manufacturing) value chain including building talent, incubators & accelerators, female founder innovation spaces and deploying capital. She serves as the Chief Innovator with her focus being on entrepreneurship, gender, future skills and the future of work. She also develops the strategic partnerships and business development role at WomHub. 

    Naadiya co-founded WomEng, a global social enterprise developing women and girls for engineering and tech. Naadiya is increasingly passionate about cybersecurity and helped develop an early warning system to keep activists safer online in Kenya and building a cybersecurity company. She speaks on cybersecurity and AI bias.

    In 2023, Naadiya was awarded the Most Disruptive Women in Tech in Africa at the Women in Tech Awards. She is venture partner and LP at Five35 Ventures, a pan African venture capital fund investing in women in tech businesses across Africa. She was a Co-Chair for the Saudi Arabia B20 Task Force on the Future of Work and Education. Naadiya is the President of Convocation of the University of Cape Town. Naadiya serves as an independent board director at the Momentum Metropolitan Foundation, a Trustee of the Harambe Entrepreneur Alliance and a member of the Investment Committee, A member of the Expert Council for the Aspen New Voices Fellowship and is an emeritus board director for the International Youth Foundation, the former chair of the board at the TQMF trust and board member at Pegasys Strategy and Development. Naadiya serves as an advisory board member for the University of Cape Town Faculty of Engineering, and was a Global Future Council Member with the World Economic Forum: Gender, Education and the Future of Work. She was a global shaper with the World Economic Forum and Curator of the Cape Town Hub. Naadiya co-owns a successful restaurant group in Cape Town. 

    Naadiya is a renowned speaker and was named “Top 20 Young Power Women in Africa” by Forbes Magazine as well as one of the top people in tech in Africa by Los Echos (the French version of the Financial Times). Naadiya has worked across 30 countries to revolutionise the face of engineering through diversity, inclusion, innovation, entrepreneurship and education leaving no one behind in a tech-enabled future. She is passionate about cybersecurity, entrepreneurship, equitable technology, fostering prosperity in emerging economies and engineering better societies.

    Lisa AdamsVisionary Founder & technologist

    Lisa Adams is the visionary Founder of Citizen Code and a technologist with over 14 years dedicated to Tech4Impact. Using her lived experiences as a woman of color from a low-income community, Lisa bridges technology gaps for underserved communities. She has a comprehensive background in technology, from operations and UX design to managing complex engineering teams.

    Having travelled to various under-served communities across the globe to understand the barriers to technology access. Lisa collaborates regularly with end-users and global technologists to uplift communities. She has led global-scale technology teams and serves as a Technology Director to UK NPO Girl Effect. Lisa has developed AI-powered chatbots, web apps, IVR, and USSD solutions, focusing on SRHR, digital health, and education across africa, & east asia. She is on a mission to develop an African Valley approach to technology design, integrating intersectional lenses and African solutions.
