Sebastian Schirmacher

Sebastian Schirmacher plays a key role at Accso, taking on a diverse range of responsibilities within the infrastructure division. As both a first responder and fire safety officer, he ensures safety and preparedness in the workplace. He provides technical leadership to members of the infrastructure team and manages infrastructure projects from planning to execution. Sebastian is also responsible for designing and implementing IT security measures in close collaboration with the Information Security Officer. His expertise covers the installation, configuration, and maintenance of clients, servers, and network components, as well as software distribution and packaging. He leads migrations and the introduction of new systems, and drives the automation of processes to increase efficiency. Additionally, Sebastian creates and updates user guides and technical documentation, manages software licenses and hardware inventories, and provides both first and second level support to ensure smooth operations.
