Transport company in a major German city

Data platform for real-time environmental and traffic data

Accso has developed and operates a real-time data platform for environmental and traffic data for a transport company in a major German city. The platform is connected to data sources from local public transport (LPT) and road traffic systems. This data is used to develop analyses, data models, and forecasts that enable intelligent control of city traffic and prioritization of LPT.

Der Fluss im Vordergrund spiegelt die Architektur wider, und der Himmel ist klar und blau. Auf der rechten Seite ist der historische Kaiserdom St. Bartholomäus zu erkennen.

Environmental and traffic data for reduced emissions in the smart city

The aim of the project was to strengthen local public transport, especially rail transport, in order to reduce emissions such as nitrogen oxides (NOx) and carbon dioxide (CO2). Intelligent and environmentally sensitive traffic management is essential for this. The central basis for this is an analytical data platform that bundles all relevant information such as traffic, environmental, geo, and mobile data and enables real-time analysis.

The insights gained from the platform can be used by the traffic control center to intelligently control traffic and make it more efficient.

"The successful implementation of the project enabled the transport company to significantly improve its data analysis capabilities, resulting in more efficient traffic management solutions. The introduction of these innovative technologies has not only optimized data processing, but also laid the foundation for future developments in the field of traffic data analysis."David GranHead of Smart City

Accso helps create urban data platform

Accso worked as a technical partner on the implementation of the data platform. Our team provided support in selecting the technology, configuring and operating the platform, and developing models as a basis for various data analyses. Accso also implemented the ETL routes for data delivery.
