Technical support for social housing

The tight housing market is one of the biggest challenges for social infrastructure in large cities. Subsidized housing in particular plays a crucial role in securing affordable housing for lower-income households. We support our clients in the allocation of subsidized housing with a central platform.

Our client, a German state capital, manages and allocates almost 100,000 apartments owned by municipal and private housing associations. In such a large city, several thousand new subsidized apartments are allocated each year. At the same time, tens of thousands of applications are received from households looking for housing.  Modernization of the platform for subsidized housing with Accso The allocation of subsidized housing and other services for people looking for housing are organized via a central platform of the city. This platform is an essential component in meeting the demand for affordable housing efficiently and transparently. Accso has been supporting the state capital with the modernization and maintenance of this platform since 2017. The project is technically demanding and includes more than ten interfaces to various services that ensure smooth data exchange. These include, for example, software from the cash and tax office for the automated processing of payments and an interface to the database of the residents' registration office.

"The cooperation with our customer is of great importance to us, as the project plays an important role in the social system of our society. We look forward to working together on its further development."Alexander TrikuzovManaging Consultant, Accso

Accso has supported the state capital both in dealing with current support issues and in the extensive restructuring of the IT architecture in several areas.
By optimizing the IT architecture, the implementation of new changes was accelerated and support was significantly simplified. In addition, the system is continuously adapted to legal changes and current requirements in order to make the allocation of subsidized housing efficient and legally compliant.
